– Japan is reported to have executed Aum Shinrikyo and six of his followers today.

Reported by AFP on Friday (6/7/2018), It has also been confirmed by the minister of Justice of Japan, Yoko Kamikawa.

Aum Shinrikyo himself is the leader of the Japanese apocalypse sect. He has been sentenced to death 10 years ago by the court.

In 1995, Aum Shinrikyo carried out a gas attack on a subway that left 13 people dead and thousands more injured.

The minister also said, The action is very horrible and severe. This should not happen again.

“a very horrible and severe act, unprecedented and should never happen again”. he said.

He also said, Ketuju person is meant Shinrikyo sentenced to death by hanging.

This hanging law is the first dead execution related to the sarin gas attack. Six other Aum sect followers are still awaiting execution.
