– Incidents of Philippine mayor shootings resumed the day by unknown people. The police are also not sure about the perpetrators.

Launched from SCMP on Tuesday (3/7/2018), Ferdinand Bone (57) is the mayor of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija Province.

He died after being shot by an unknown person when he was just out of his office with the driver.

Police said at least 18 bullets were fired at the victim’s car by the group.

“Victims were shot repeatedly using short-barreled weapons,” said city police chief Adrian Gabriel.

This incident was only one day before a similar incident occurred on one of the mayors of the country.

Bote became the 12th elected government official killed since Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte launched a war against narcotics.
