– A man in Arkansas, United States, was charged with imprisonment for 50 years for deliberately wanting to spread the HIV virus to others.

Local police reportedly arrested him for alleged possession of drugs. But an informant said he had also sexually harassed children.

In his investigation, prosecutors discovered that Koch had recently developed HIV and planned to infect others with the virus.

The prosecutor told the Supreme Court justice that he was planning a double date and lied about his illness status.

Koch himself acknowledged the crime and claimed that his actions had damaged himself. He had to bear 50 years in prison and was registered as a sex offender.
