– The governor of New Jersey responded to the shootings that occurred in an art fesival on Sunday in his town.

Reported by Fox News, Monday (18/06/2018), Murphy wants the police to control new weapons for civilians and the circulation of weapons in his city.

In the incident, At least one person was killed and 22 others suffered serious injuries and had been hospitalized.

The suspect, identified as Tahaji Wells, 33, fired a shot before 3 am at the Art All Night festival in the capital of New Jersey, in what appeared to be gang-related disputes. Wells was reportedly killed by police, and 17 of the 22 wounded were reported to have suffered gunshot wounds.

A second suspect, identified as Amir Armstrong, 23, remains hospitalized in a stable condition and faces gunsuits while the third suspect is in critical condition.

Less than 24 hours after the shooting, Murphy – a former Goldman Sachs banker who served as President Barack Obama’s ambassador to Germany – began calling for gun control without addressing other circumstances involved in crime.

“This is another reminder of unreasonable gun violence, even having signed six strict gun laws last week,” Murphy said at a Sunday press conference after the Baptist Church of Galilee Trenton.
