– A police deputy in Oregon was arrested and awaiting an internal investigation after he was caught video camera hitting a suspect in the process of arrest last Monday.

Reporting from, Wednesday (13/06/2018), KGW-TV Portland who took the tape of the incident showed a man forced to the ground and restrained by four policemen from Sheriff Marion County

Worse, One of the police deputies was seen hitting the man repeatedly so he was heard begging in the video.

Known to the arrested man is 28-year-old Kevin Straw who reportedly has a large knife during the arrest.

He was arrested by the police for harassing a local police officer.

According to The Oregonian, the deputy responded to a call about a man who kept shouting while emergency responders were coordinating the search for two missing fishermen. Straw has reportedly tried to warn seekers about cougars in the area. He is allegedly asked to leave at least twice by the deputy before his arrest.

The missing fishermen, The Oregonian reported, were later found safe.

On Tuesday, the deputy who was seen attacking Straw was removed from patrol duty.

He “has been temporarily reassigned in the enforcement division for non-patrol assignments until the arrest review is completed,” said a statement from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
