CAMBRIDGESHIRE, UK - A police sergeant pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a schoolgirl after claiming he was in love with her.
Drama student turned police officer, Sgt Dominic Liversedge, dramatically quit the Cambridgeshire force after admitting sexual activity with a child.
A court heard the 27-year-old, who was based at Parkside police station in Cambridge, was open about the “affair” to fellow officers, who reported the abuse.
Yesterday (Monday, 30 June) Liversedge, of Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge, appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court and admitted having a sexual encounter with the 14-year-old girl.
His address was only revealed after a legal challenge by our reporter during the hearing.
Represented by Jeremy Kendall, Liversedge had been suspended on full pay during an investigation.
But Mr Kendall yesterday (Monday, 30 June) told the court his client had resigned that day.

HEMET, CALIFORNIA - A 44-year-old convicted sex offender has been sentenced to more than a millenium in prison.
Horace Mann Williams was convicted in February of 11 felony counts of lewd acts upon a child under 14 and one count of digital penetration of a child under 14, along with a sentence enhancing allegation of multiple victims.
He molested three girls between 1999 and 2005.
On Monday, a judge sentenced Williams to a record-breaking, 1,330-year prison term after the defendant verbally attacked the creditability of his former attorney, the prosecutor and the judge.
Williams, whose emotional displays ranged from pounding on the table to crying, spent more than 15 minutes criticizing the way his trial was handled.
He has filed a motion for a new trial, alleging juror misconduct.
This isn’t the first child sex conviction for Williams.

ST. HELENA, LOUISIANA - A local police officer was arrested on Thursday and charged with molesting a juvenile and aggravated rape.
St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jessie Hughes was arrested as a result of a complaint of an alleged rape of a juvenile, the Louisiana State Police Department said.
Hughes was initially placed on administrative leave without pay while police investigated the claim. After the investigation, he was placed under arrest and taken to the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.
Following his arrest, he was fired from the St. Helena Sheriff’s Department. Appeared Here

RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA - A Riverside County sheriff’s deputy has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl.
Raymond Vidales, 44, was arrested Friday and entered pleas in Superior Court to five counts of sexual battery, child molestation and rape with a foreign object.
Vidales was freed on $100,000 bail.
Prosecutors contend Vidales, a 22-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Department, assaulted the girl in November 2005 in Perris while he was off duty.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Dean Spivacke says Vidales was having a relationship with the teen’s mother at the time.
Authorities said the teen reported the incident last month.
Vidales has been placed on paid leave pending the outcome of the case. Appeared Here

SCHENECTADY, NEW YORK — A former police officer from Essex County will spend 10 years on probation after he admitted having sexual relations with an 8-year-old girl.
Peter C. Kunath, 62, of Queensbury admitted he had sexual conduct with the girl at two locations in Glenville, Schenectady County, in summer 2007.
Kunath was a police officer with Lake Placid and Saranac Lake village police departments from the 1970s through the 1980s.
He later became an State Environmental Conservation Police officer and retired as an EnCon investigator.
He pleaded guilty to felony first-degree sexual abuse of a child under the age of 11.
Under the terms of a plea agreement, Kunath must stay away from the girl until 2018 or he faces four years in state prison for violating probation.
Schenectady County Judge Karen Drago sentenced Kunath to 40 days time served and 10 years on probation. She also ordered him to register as a sex offender.

EAST WINDSOR, CONNECTICUT - Darren Seligman had built two careers over 19 years, one in the military and another as a police officer.
During a one- to two-week period in October, the East Windsor police officer began exchanging e-mails and messages with an 11-year-old girl that have destroyed those careers and brought him a federal prison term. Seligman, 39, was sentenced Thursday to 48 months in prison by a judge in U.S. District Court in New Haven for trying to sexually entice the girl over the Internet.
Senior U.S. District Judge Ellen Bree Burns also sentenced Seligman to 10 years of supervised release. On April 3, Seligman waived his right to indictment and pleaded guilty to one count of using an interstate facility to transmit information about a minor. Seligman, who resigned from the police department in November, must register as a sex offender upon his release and can not be alone with any children under the age of 18 except for his two sons.

GURNEE, ILLINOIS - A Lake County grand jury has indicted a Gurnee police officer on nine felonies, including five counts of predatory criminal sex assault of a child.
Jay Simon, a six-year veteran of the Gurnee Police Department, was indicted Wednesday on charges stemming from an early June arrest.
In addition to the five counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, the jury also returned indictments on one count of aggravated criminal sex abuse and two counts of official misconduct.
The 36-year-old Round Lake Beach father of three was arrested by the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office on allegations that he sexually assaulted two girls under 13 in 2006 and 2007.
He’s also been charged with unlawful restraint and aggravated assault stemming from a separate incident with a 35-year-old male victim.

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA - A former Desert Hot Springs police officer [Dennis Paul Decker] convicted of molesting an underage female relative over a 10-year period was sentenced to 134 years to life in prison today, but he continued to adamantly deny his guilt.
“I feel I have been convicted of a crime on lies and fabrication,” the 37-year-old former officer said during his sentencing hearing, which was held in an Indio courtroom packed with law enforcement and friends and relatives of the victim.
The Desert Sun is not naming the man [Dennis Paul Decker] to protect the identity of the relative.
The former officer was convicted April 22 on 14 of 16 counts, including aggravated
sexual assault and rape, stemming from the molestation, which began when the
victim was 7 years old.

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NEW JERSEY - Middle Township police officer Walter R. Krych pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges that he sexually assaulted two young girls.
Krych, 54, was making his first court appearance since a Cape May County grand jury indicted him in May on three counts of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
His attorney, Amy Weintrob, entered the not guilty plea on Krych’s behalf and then told Superior Court Judge Raymond Batten that she was seeking additional discovery in the case from the Prosecutor’s Office, including statements made by the alleged victims.
Weintrob also told the judge that there had been talk within the county’s criminal case management division about moving the case to another venue, such as Atlantic County.

TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA - After he plead no contest to two felony sex charges involving a young female relative, former Gardena City Councilman Oscar Medrano was sentenced to eight years in jail Friday.
Torrance Superior Court Judge William Hollingsworth sentenced the 47-year-old former councilman after he plead no contest to continuous sexual abuse of a minor and committing a lewd act on a child, according to Deputy District Attorney Beatriz Dieringer.
“Obviously the victim has been traumatized by this experience,” the prosecutor said. “It (the plea) appeared to be a fair disposition balancing her interest with Mr. Medrano’s.”
Medrano had been awaiting a hearing to determine if there was enough evidence to require him to stand trial on a dozen sex-related counts involving the girl.
The other 10 charges were dismissed as a result of the plea.

“The matter has been amicably resolved to the satisfaction of both parties,” said a statement released by both sides. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Patricia Conradt’s lawsuit had claimed her brother, a suburban Dallas prosecutor, fatally shot himself after he was accused of engaging in a sexually explicit online chat with an adult posing as a 13-year-old boy.
The lawsuit claimed NBC “steamrolled” authorities to arrest Louis William Conradt Jr. after telling police he failed to show up at a sting operation 35 miles away.

AUGUSTA, GEORGIA - A Richmond County deputy is on the other side of the law. Lindon Haworth is in jail charged with child molestation. He’s accused of kissing a 14-year-old girl last June.
The victim’s family says the long wait for his arrest is an injustice and today the victim’s mother spoke exclusively to News 12.
The family says they are speaking out because they don’t want another victim to face such a long wait “Frustration, disappointment in the justice system because I do have a child who has been terrified for over a year.” says the girl’s mother who did not want to be identified in order to protect her daughter.
It’s been 54 full weeks or 381 long days since her daughter first came forward to say she was molested inside the Haworth’s home.

WASHINGTON, DC — The Supreme Court has struck down a Louisiana law that allows the execution of people convicted of a raping a child.

In a 5-4 vote, the court says the law allowing the death penalty to be imposed in cases of child rape violates the Constitution’s ban on cruel and unusual punishment.

NEW BRITAIN, CONNECTICUT - A former judicial marshal in Waterbury court began serving a 10-year prison term Wednesday, after being sentenced for sexually assaulting a teen boy in Waterbury last year.
Donald Beaulieu, one of eight men including a Waterbury police lieutenant and a manufacturing company executive — charged in 2007 with molesting the boy in separate incidents, wept as he was escorted out of the courtroom.
Some of the cases are pending, including those of the now-fired officer and the company executive. Other defendants have accepted plea bargains. Beaulieu is the only defendant to have gone to trial so far.
Beaulieu, 40, of Watertown, opted for trial when he turned down a state offer to plead guilty and serve nine months in prison. In March, a jury convicted him of two counts of second-degree sexual assault and three other felony charges.

MACON COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA - Patrol officer Christopher Hoover, 24, was arrested June 5 and charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child. Two days earlier, Macon County Sheriff’s office terminated his employment.
Arrest warrants signed Wednesday by Superior Court judge, indicate three counts of indecent liberties with a minor. The events are said to have taken place between June 2, 2007, and June 2, 2008. The young girl will turn four this July.
Indecent liberties with a minor are considered a class F felony. For a person with no prior felonies or misdemeanors, a judge could issue anywhere between 10 to 12 months at the lowest sentence or 20 to 24 months as a maximum sentence. Sentencing is dictated by general statute 15A- 1340.7 and is based on both felony class and point system. “A” being the highest felony class, the higher the class and the higher the point indicates the severity of the sentencing.
The charges stem from an investigation prompted by the Department of Social Services and concluded by the N.C. State Bureau of Investigations (SBI).

TROY, NEW YORK - A former police officer has been assigned the highest sex offender status for his conviction ten years ago for raping an 11-year-old girl.
Paul D’Adamo of East Greenbush admitted in August 1998 to attempted rape and rape in the case. According to court documents, the abuse continued for about a year. D’Adamo also admitted to molesting the girl’s younger sister but was never charged in that case.
A required risk assessment hearing was held Wednesday in anticipation of D’Adamo’s scheduled release from prison in August. He was assigned a level three status, which denotes a likelihood of repeat behavior.
D’Adamo served in the military police with the Coast Guard and the Air Force. He also served as a sheriff’s deputy in Texas, a Maryland police officer and a security guard. At the time of his arrest, he was a New York state corrections officer. Appeared Here

YUBA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA - Yuba County Judge James L. Curry will watch recorded interviews with two alleged victims before ruling Wednesday whether Earnest Rex Archer will be held to answer on seven child molestation charges.
Archer, a former Yuba County Sheriff’s Department reserve deputy and Board of Supervisors candidate, appeared Friday morning for a preliminary hearing in Curry’s court.
Both victims were female foster children under 10 who are not related to Archer, said Deputy District Attorney Brad Enos.
Charges include alleged oral copulation with one of the children between January and July 2004.
Archer also participated in an act of penetration with a foreign object with the same child “or did cause another person under 14 years of age … to penetrate the defendant’s or another person’s genital or anal openings for the purpose of sexual arousal, gratification or abuse,” according to a complaint by the District Attorney’s Office.

ROLLA, MISSOURI - Leonard J. Cook passed the polygraph test to be a Rolla, Mo., city police officer. But instead of leading to a job, his answers could send him to prison.
Cook, 31, was already a police officer for the University of Missouri at Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) when a lie-detector examiner asked him last year if he ever had any contact with underage girls.
He said yes.
Asked if he had any child pornography, again he said yes.
U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway outlined the details Thursday, a day after Cook pleaded guilty in federal court in St. Louis of one count of possession of child pornography. Such a conviction typically results in a prison term of four or five years.
She said Cook’s candor during the polygraph was stunning.

CHISAGO CITY, MINNESOTA - A small Minnesota town is fighting a big city problem with how to treat a repeat sex offender living next to a child care center and 500 feet from a school.
Jeffery Holmgren, 37, moved to Minnesota after being convicted of sexually molesting a girl roller-skating in Nebraska. He’s also been convicted and charged with similar sexual conduct in Minnesota and neighbors are trying to stop him.
“I’ve had it! My Minnesota nice is gone,” said Ann Trippler, who runs a day care in her home on a quiet Chisago City street.
Right next door to that day care is a repeat sex offender who moved in three years ago. Holmgren moved from Ramsey County after twice serving time for indecent exposure. In Ramsey County. he was ordered not to live within two blocks of a school.

AUBURNDALE, FLORIDA - A former Auburndale police officer was arrested after an undercover sting Wednesday afternoon, and charged with soliciting a 15-year-old girl on the Internet, Polk County sheriff’s officials said.
Jerad Moxley, 25, was charged with solicitation of a minor via the Internet. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and held on $75,000 bail, officials said.
Moxley resigned from the Auburndale Police Department last year and was charged with a misdemeanor count of filing a false police report after admitting that he lied about being attacked by a knife-wielding man, officials said.
Detectives learned that Moxley had started communicating with the girl on Sunday. He was arrested at his home at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A sheriff’s spokeswoman said Wednesday she had no additional information about the allegations against Moxley.
In March 2007, Moxley was arrested after admitting that he lied about being attacked by a man who tried to stab him. The month before, Moxley had told investigators he was patrolling an Auburndale subdivision under construction north of Bolender Road shortly before midnight when he saw a man walking along Adams View Lane and asked him for identification.

SALINAS, CALIFORNIA – An ex-California Highway Patrol officer has pleaded no contest to misdemeanors for molesting two young girls.

Jacob Duenas, who was fired by the CHP and was scheduled for trial Monday, entered the pleas Thursday to two counts of molesting a child for sexual gratification. The girls were 13 and 14 years old.
The 27-year-old Duenas will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. He was originally charged with two felony child molestation counts and two misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency counts.
Prosecutor Gary Thelander says he offered the plea deal because, in addition to forcing Duenas to register as a sex offender, it will require him to attend counseling.

CENTREVILLE, ALABAMA - A Bibb County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Sheriff Keith Hannah says the girl’s mother and stepmother reported the incident to police Tuesday morning. He notified the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.
Hannah says 24-year-old Terrell Morrow knows the girl’s family and agreed to an interview by an ABI agent. He fired Morrow before the rape charge was filed.
Morrow was promoted from correctional officer to deputy three years ago. The sheriff says he had not had any previous disciplinary problems. Appeared Here

LAKE WALES, FLORIDA - A former Lake Wales police detective, who was already facing sex-related charges involving a 16-year-old girl, has now been charged with setting the fire that destroyed his house and then collecting $183,000 in insurance.
Robert Alan Michael Hendrix, 25, was jailed Tuesday on charges of first-degree arson and insurance fraud. His bail was set at $125,000 during a first appearance hearing Wednesday.
Hendrix resigned from the department May 15, said Capt. Troy Schulze.
As a result, Schulze said, the department is no longer involved in either case. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is the investigative agency on the charges relating to the 16-year-old girl, while the State Fire Marshal’s Office is responsible for the investigation of the fire.
Hendrix’s lawyer, Richard Hornsby of Orlando, said he expects his client to be cleared of all charges.

CHEYENNE, WYOMING — A federal judge on Friday sentenced former Campbell County Fire Chief Gary Scott to serve more than 24 years in prison on 10 felony convictions of taking children under the age of 18 across state lines to sexually molest them.
Scott molested many of his victims while they were in a children’s fire cadet program he started after Campbell County hired him as fire chief in 1991. Prosecutors say the abuse continued until his arrest last August. He pleaded guilty in March.
While Scott expressed regret for his actions, U.S. District Judge Clarence Brimmer ruled that he had violated his position of trust over the victims. Brimmer said the breach of trust demanded that Scott receive a penalty harsher than the nearly 22 years in prison spelled out in federal sentencing guidelines.

MESA COUNTY, ARIZONA - A former Palisade police officer faces 34 felony charges for sex assault on a child and sex assault by a person in a position of trust in the alleged assaults on two girls formerly entrusted in foster care to the officer and his wife for more than a decade, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.
Patrick Casey, 51, of Clifton, was arrested May 29 and remained in custody Wednesday on a $250,000 bond.
The assaults occurred between January 1997 and April 2008, according to an arrest affidavit.
Casey was employed with the Palisade Police Department during this time, the affidavit said, but his specific dates of employment were unclear Wednesday. A phone message to Palisade’s human resource director, Amy Palmer, was not returned Wednesday, and Police Chief Carroll Quarles is out of town.

ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA — A 13-year-old girl’s sexual shenanigans have put a second man behind bars. Morris Williams, 22, told the judge he thought the girl was 18-years-old, but he found out Tuesday that ignorance is not a defense.Morris Williams’ mother wailed as he went off to jail. The judge asked for media not to show 13-year-old Alisha Dean’s face in court, but her pictures are all over her MySpace page and they portray a sexy, 19-year-old divorced woman.
“She told me she had just turned 18,” Williams said.
Williams said Dean picked him up on the street and after a few conversations they had sex. When he heard she was not 18, he went to her father.
“He was like ‘well, she’s 13,’” Williams said of a conversation with Dean’s father.
Williams said he never did it again, but Dean has done it before with 24-year-old Darwin Mills. Mills was sentenced to five years in prison.

AUSTIN, TEXAS - As a court-appointed child advocate, Billy Dan Carroll volunteered to help children and families deal with abuse and neglect cases. His job was to get to know them and help the courts guide the best path to recovery.
Austin police now say Carroll, 53, is a serial pedophile and have charged him with multiple counts of sexually abusing children and women and videotaping the acts. At least one of his alleged victims had connections to his advocacy work, police said Friday.
Investigators say they’ve identified at least seven victims of abuse, with ages ranging from young girls 2 or 3 years old to a pair of adult women. All of the alleged victims are female and most are between 2 and 13 years old.
“This is probably the worst of the worst,” said police Sgt. Brian Loyd, who has investigated child abuse cases for 22 years. “Several of these children were abused multiple times.”

Newton Alabama Police Officer Harold Frost Quits After Being Charged With Child Molestation
Earlier this month, Harold Frost pled guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12-years-old and one-count of sodomy.
Frost was having sexual contact with two Kinston girls, ages eight and nine-years-old.
Frost had also worked for the Kinston and Newton police departments.
A grandmother of one of the victim’s says the child suffered mental trauma.
Judge Kelley described Frost’s actions as completely repulsive.

ROSEBORO, NORTH CAROLINA - Some town residents are upset that the husband of Interim Police Chief Anita Merritt is a registered sex offender, saying her relationship with a convicted felon is a conflict of interest.
Tyrone Merritt, 36, was convicted in Massachusetts in March 2001 of taking indecent liberties with a child in connection with a May 1999 incident. He was sentenced to probation.
The incident occurred before Anita Merritt married her husband and before she joined the Roseboro Police Department in September 2004.
“Anything that happened to him has no reflection on me or my character or on my job,” said Anita Merritt, who was sworn in as police chief Thursday.
“He’s made one bad choice in his life, and he’s paid his debt to society,” she said. “Anyone who knows my husband knows he’s a wonderful man.”

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — A Phoenix police homicide detective arrested by his own department on child pornography charges has been indicted, the Maricopa County attorney’s office said.
Detective Mike Polk, 50, a 26-year-veteran of the police department, has been indicted on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a class two felony and dangerous crime against children.
A search of Polk’s Surprise home uncovered evidence of child pornography on his home computer and numerous thumb drives that contained video files that fit the criteria for the crime of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the Phoenix Police Department probable cause statement.
Polk was arrested after Immigrations and Customs Enforcement made Phoenix police aware that he was the subject of two Internet child pornography investigations.

In one of the cases, Polk was accused of purchasing child porn images using an online banking service. According to court paperwork, Polk registered with the banking service using his real name, address, and personal e-mail account.

Jaime Katz, a veteran officer now assigned to the Police Academy, “developed a relationship … and over time groomed him for sex and sex-related acts,” Assistant District Attorney John Temple said, according to the New York Post.
Katz, who was being held on $500,000 bail, has pleaded innocent.
But Temple said the victim was orphaned and Katz’s relatives adopted that child and an older brother. Prosecutors allege the abuse began when the boy was 11 and continued until he was 13.
Temple alleged Katz paid bills for the victim’s adoptive family and went on vacations with them, the newspaper said.

ANADARKO, OKLAHOMA - One Caddo County police chief has been fired and another has been suspended indefinitely after both ran afoul of the law recently.
Prosecutors have charged 35-year-old Garri Don McClure of Gracemont with making lewd and indecent proposals to a child under 16.
McClure is accused of making sexual propositions to a 15-year-old girl. He surrendered to authorities yesterday and was fired on a 4 to 0 vote by the town council.
Authorities say McClure admitted to investigators he used text messages to solicit sex with a 15-year-old girl in his community.
In Eakly, the town council voted 3 to 0 to indefinitely suspend Police Chief Reydon Clay Recker after he was charged with driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA — A Maricopa police officer has pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of sex with a minor.
Garry Ferguson, 30, is still in jail in Kings County.
Law enforcement officials said in addition to the charges in Kings County, Ferguson is under a separate Kern County investigation for child sex allegations.
Prosecutors in the Kings County case said there are three victims ranging in age from 13 to 16.
Ferguson is on leave from the Maricopa Police Department.

FORDLAND, MISSOURI - An officer with the Fordland police department has been charged with a felony count of rape.
A warrant for the arrest of Earl Leon Thompson, 42, Fordland, was issued Thursday following the filing of a complaint.
Webster County Sheriff’s Deputy John Everett interviewed the 14-year-old victim, her mother and her stepfather on Thursday.
In Everett’s probable cause statement, the stepfather said he saw text messages from Thompson to his stepdaughter.
The man said he was concerned with the messages “including one that had a heart on it and said ‘I luv you,;” the probable cause statement said.
The stepfather questioned the teen who “broke down crying and told him she and Thompson ‘went all the way.’”
Everett said he spoke with the girl who said the first person she told about what happened was her dad, that she had sex on two occasions with Thompson and that she “’she asked him to stop and he wouldn’t stop,’” the probable cause statement said.

LOGAN COUNTY, OHIO - More than two years of legal wrangling came to an end Thursday when former Logan County Sheriff’s Detective Jon Stout, 39, pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor charge that he intended to speed while a then 15-year-old girl rode along in 2005 in his county-owned undercover car.
He admitted to one count of attempted child endangering, and in exchange, prosecutors dropped charges of interference with custody, contributing to the delinquency of minors and public indecency.
The plea came after hours of back-and-forth negotiations between defense attorney Gregg Lewis and Special Prosecutor Scott Longo.
By noon, a deal was reached, but the formal plea did not come until after 2 p.m.
Both sides feared the other would appeal whatever decision would come from a twoday trial before visiting Judge David Faulkner.
Steve Moody, the father of victim Stacy Moody, said afterward, “We’re one step closer to getting this behind us.”

MARICOPA, CALIFORNIA - The officer once in charge of the Maricopa Police Department was arrest Saturday.
Garry Ferguson faces twelve counts of committing sex crimes against children.
Police said there are at least three victims and there could be more.
Officials said charges include unlawful intercourse with a minor, lewd acts with a child, oral copulation with a minor, and forcible rape.
Investigators said the crimes took place during the last couple of years in Lemoore, just north of Kern County.
Officials also said Ferguson is being investigated for similar crimes in Kern County, but so far no charges have been filed.
Court records also showed a woman placed a restraining order against Ferguson just last week.
Maricopa Police Chief Louie Penny said, “Any misconduct by our officers will be dealt with swiftly. It’s not a likeness of our department, we are professional and any allegations will be investigated.”

PHOENIX, ARIZONA - A Child Protective Services supervisor is accused of sexually molesting a 4-year-old girl and two teenage boys, Phoenix police said.
David Wigton, 58, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and booked into the Maricopa County jail.
Wigton faces one count of molestation of a child, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of furnishing obscene materials to a minor and two counts of obstructing a criminal investigation.
Police said the the victims in the case are all either Wigton’s direct family members, children, step-children, or step-grandchildren.

Detectives with the Phoenix Police Department said they completed their investigation and developed probable cause to arrest the man.
