Highland Florida Police Officer Kyle Cimiotti Fired After Complaining Of Officer Telling Racist And Anti-Semitic Jokes, Officer Martin Finkelstein Quits And Claims It Has Nothing To Do With His Telling Jokes

HIGHLAND, FLORIDA - A police officer who accused a colleague of telling racist and anti-Semitic jokes was terminated Thursday for failing to successfully complete his probationary period.
Officer Kyle Cimiotti had been hired in October.
Town manager Dale Sugerman confirmed Cimiotti did not complete his probation but declined to elaborate Monday.
On March 17, Cimiotti wrote to Chief Carlo Angelillo complaining that former officer Martin Finkelstein had used racial slurs when telling jokes
Finkelstein denied making the jokes but became the subject of an internal affairs investigation.
He retired earlier this month saying his retirement was not related to the investigation.
