LORAIN, OHIO - Judging by the IP address submitting this document, with some comments, someone in federal law enforcement is pissed off at Lorain police chief Cel Rivera efforts to toss Officer Jesus Sanchez “in front of the bus…”

The submitter reminds us that Rivera is married, living apart from his wife, “shacked up with a whore.” A previous Bad Cop News post detailed his living arrangements, addresses, etc.

Anyway… Help us fill in the blanks. We want officers names for “A” through “F” in the affidavit below, and info on “G” incidents with officers names.

A.) A lieutenant (?????? ??????) was accused of kissing a woman without her concent. The only adverse action taken against the lieutenant was to transfer him from the Detective Bureau.

B.) A Sergeant (?????? ??????) was accused by a married woman of stalking her. No disciplinary action of any kind was taken against him.

C.) Another sergeant (?????? ??????) exposed his penis to a woman and asked for oral sex. No disciplinary action was taken against him.

D.) A patrolman (emailer #1 says officer Stanley Marrero - currently subject of two $15,000,000 lawsuits, busted for on-duty sex here) attempted to kiss a woman without her consent. He was merely reassigned, without any other disciplinary action.

HIGHLAND, FLORIDA - A police officer who accused a colleague of telling racist and anti-Semitic jokes was terminated Thursday for failing to successfully complete his probationary period.

Officer Kyle Cimiotti had been hired in October.

Town manager Dale Sugerman confirmed Cimiotti did not complete his probation but declined to elaborate Monday.

On March 17, Cimiotti wrote to Chief Carlo Angelillo complaining that former officer Martin Finkelstein had used racial slurs when telling jokes

GREENFIELD, WISCONSIN - Criminal charges will not be filed against two women accused of allowing a 2-year-old to smoke a cigarette at Greenfield Ponderosa restaurant.

The boy’s 26-year-old mother and 39-year-old aunt were arrested after allowing the boy to put a cigarette in his mouth and then lighting it, police said.

The two were issued municipal citations, but the district attorney’s office decided not to file criminal child abuse charges against them.

LAKE WALES, FLORIDA - A Lake Wales police detective was arrested Thursday night on charges that he used the Internet to entice a former juvenile police cadet to have sex, according to police officials.

TILLAMOOK, OREGON - A man who who spent 10 days in jail and two months under house arrest for a bank robbery he didn’t commit has received a check but no apology from the FBI.

Robert Christie, 71, of Tillamook was detained during the FBI’s search for the so-called “Waddling Bandit.”

CLARKSVILLE, INDIANA - A former Clarksville police officer has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for dealing drugs.

Thirty-five-year-old Franklin Mikel was sentenced Thursday under a plea agreement reached with prosecutors. He admitted selling morphine pills to a police informant three times in March and April last year at the Greentree Skateland roller rink he owned in Clarksville.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI - A former St. Louis County police officer is now charged with trying to send pornography to a minor.

Prosecutors say David Doerhoff sent a nude photo of himself online to someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

That “girl” was a Maryland Heights police officer.

St. Louis County police fired the 23-year-old last month, right after his arrest.

LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE - Monday morning, Lawrence County Sheriff Kenny Taylor will be in court for a plea deal hearing.

Taylor has been indicted on official misconduct charges brought on by a three month investigation by the TBI.

Taylor has been accused of interfering with a traffic stop involving his nephew. Taylor allegedly ordered others to stop investing the DUI case.

HOOKSETT, NEW HAMPSHIRE – A police officer arrested by state police for allegedly driving while intoxicated has been placed on administrative leave with pay, according to Hooksett police.

Officer Benjamin Beauchemin was driving his own vehicle in Auburn early Sunday morning when he was involved in an accident. He was not injured, police said.

Hooksett Police have launched an internal investigation. Beauchemin has been with the department a little over a year.

MONTEREY, TENNESSEE - Monday morning, a Putnam County police officer was on the other side of the law and off the job.

Monterey Police Officer Michael Phillips faced criminal charges of assault for allegedly kicking a handcuffed burglary suspect in the face back January 2008.

A videotape of the incident reportedly showed Phillips kicking the suspect as several other officers held him to the ground.

A judge ordered the father to stay on top of his daughter’s education months ago and when that order wasn’t followed, Brian Gegner was sentenced to 180-days in the Butler County jail.

The daughter, Brittany Gegner, says her father shouldn’t be punished for her problems.

Especially, she says because she’s now 18, an adult.

“It’s ridiculously wrong,” said Brittany Gegner.

“Of all the punishments they could have given him, to make him go to jail?,” she asked. “I mean, probation – until I get my GED – would be reasonable, but to send him to jail? That’s overboard.”

Butler County Juvenile Court Judge David Niehaus ordered Gegner to jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor by not following a court order which required Gegner to be sure his daughter got her GED.

This comes after ongoing problems of Brittany skipping classes at Fairfield High School and then, Butler Tech.

While Brian Gegner had custody of her, Brittany says it was while she lived with her mother that she was truant.

“I’m about to be 19 and my Dad’s being punished for something I did when I was 16,” she said.

“It’s like I should, if anybody should be punished for this,” said Brittany. “I would way rather me go to jail than my Dad.”

“They probably should have punished me if they were going to punish anybody,” said Brittany’s mother Shana Roach. “Because she did live with me at the time, but because he had the custody, that’s why he’s being punished.”

“But I don’t understand the punishment all together because she’s going to school, she’s been going for four months,” said Roach. “The only thing that’s holding her back is she can’t pass her math test.”

Brittany has a daughter who’s about 18-months-old.

She says she’s determined to pass the GED for her daughter – and her father.

The judge says if she passes the test, her father could get out of jail before his six-months sentence is up.

Brittany’s step-mother worries the time in jail will ruin their family.

She says he could lose the job he’s worked for 15-years.

“I never dreamed they would put him in jail for this – for six months – it’s crazy,” said Stephanie Gegner, Brittany’s step-mother.

“He has no control over what his adult daughter does,” she said. “He just doesn’t.”

Court administrators say that even though Brittany is an adult now, the case remains active in their court because she was a juvenile when the problems started.

They say this type of punishment is rare and reserved for extreme cases when court orders aren’t met.

DENVER, COLORADO - A Denver police officer has been arrested on a second-degree assault charge after being accused of using excessive force against a 16-year-old boy.

Officer Charles Porter was arrested Thursday. He’s accused of using excessive force against Juan Vasquez, who suffered a lacerated liver, kidney injuries and broken ribs in an April 18 incident.
